The Butterfly Neckless

I think about you even when I try not to, I keep my distance but l will always wait, waiting for something that I know will likely never come. Because I made you a promise. a\ promise I would love you till the end. That’s a promise I’I never break. And if one day you feel a warmth you can’t explain, a soft, brief, like a memory , then maybe that was just me somewhere in time still keeping my promise.

I recently read a poem “Miss you the Most” by Donna Ashworth.  Please read this poem in the original English first because since translating it to another language will lose its meaning.

“When I feel you are without me, I close my eyes.

Float down beneath my skin, I retreat within.

You are the blood that flows,

You are the courage in my stomach that grows.

You are the chamber in my heart that feels like home.

You are the seed from which my life was proudly grown.

Only your body has flown.

But you, you dwell still within my bones.

Your voice and all the good I’ve ever known, is mine to own.

When I feel I am without you, I listen close.

You whisper louder, when I miss you most.”

Even if the mountains have no edges and the heaven and earth are united, I dare not break off with you.

纵使山无边际,天地合一,我也不敢与你绝交。
